It's been my career goal to travel and photograph couples in the most beautiful places on earth. And last week I started to see the light. Andrew and Leah, who happen to be very close friends of mine, wanted their engagement photos to be something very different and spectacular... So I suggested to them that we do it some place very different and spectacular!
We were gone for 5 days, 3 of which we spent shooting. We went from sweltering 95 degree Phoenix to bone chilling 22 degree Grand Canyon in just 3 short hours and 5,000' of elevation. We encountered freak, isolated snow blizzards while shooting, hammocked under the stars in sub freezing temperatures and repelled down slot canyons. I think epic is an understatement for this engagement shoot.
This experience was one for the books!
I'm so looking forward to these guys' wedding in September! ESPECIALLY because I'm not shooting it! :P I am so pumped to be able to enjoy their day without the stress that photographing brings. Beyond excited for you two!
