So you’ve decided to elope in the greatest and most beautiful place in NY — The Adirondacks.

… So what now??

You want to elope because you value a powerful, intentional experience. you prioritize being in the moment, expressing your selves and removing stress and the pressure to perform.

You can do anything you want, go anywhere you want, whenever you want. you can invite anyone you want (or no one at all), take as much time as you want and wear whatever you want.

Eloping isn’t about being exclusive or secretive (though it can be if that’s what you want). Eloping is about being present and focused, celebrating only the things that are most important to you.

Beyond mountains, also explore the idea of tying the knot beneath a raging waterfall, in a vast meadow or valley of wild flowers, in a pine grove dappled with sunlight, or on the porch of a rustic cabin. Whatever you choose to do, make it about the two of you.

if you’re choosing to elope in the adirondacks, it’s probably safe to assume you’re drawn to the beauty of the mountains. There are ways to achieve great locations via road, but the best views and experiences are going to be the result of a little sweat and effort!

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER CAN HELP YOU brainstorm locations and assess the pros and cons of each. We have a vast amount of experience in the Adirondack mountains and would love to collaborate with you to come up with the perfect elopement experience that suits your vision and fulfills your expectations!

Do not underestimate the timing of when you get married in the Adks. personal Logistics aside, you need to consider weather patterns, elevation variables, tourist trends and most importantly, lighting! we’re here to help you navigate these factors and get you wed at the best time possible.

QUICK TIP

Consider a sunrise elopement to mitigate tourists/hikers disturbing your intimate elopement ceremony.

QUICK TIP

100% choose a weekday for the same reason!

Take it from every couple we’ve ever worked with - don’t skimp. Do yourselves a favor and celebrate like, well, you just got married! Rent a cute cabin (airbnb and VRBO are your best friends) and bring someone to help you put together the celebration you deserve. From having a place to get ready in, to having a place to come back to after your vows to eat, drink and be merry. it could be just the two of you sharing a bottle of champagne and taking two forks to a cake, or it can be some friends and family waiting to receive you with a dinner by candlelight.

We not only help you out with all of the photo logistics and details, but we also have someone (Ruthie) on our team who specifically specialize in small scale elopement day planning and implementation. Let’s talk about vision and collaborate to come up with your dream elopement. We will be on location the whole day(s) to make sure it goes off without a hitch.

you shouldn’t have to worry about a thing on your elopement day, but you also shouldn’t have to sacrifice organization and beautiful touches.

QUICK TIP

Hire a private chef to create an unforgettable and romantic wedding night dinner, right in the comfort of your own (rented) home.

QUICK TIP

Talk to us about putting together a romantic reception for two. We have experience creating charcuterie and have vendor connections to ensure you have the best food and experience.

Officiant: We can help with this - but finding a qualified person to legally marry you actually isn’t that hard. You can either ask a friend to get ordained online (super easy) or you can find someone local with just a little research.

Witnesses: In NYS you’re required to have two witnesses sign your marriage license, and your officiant is not allowed to be a witness. This might be no issue if you plan to invite a few friends and family, but if you plan to elope with no guests, your photographer(s) and videographer would be honored to help you out!

Think you’re ready to elope? We think you are! Let’s take that next step together and create some unforgettable magic!
